Kids’ Corner
Here at Cornerstone, children are learning who God is, how they can grow in their personal relationship with Him, and how they can lead and disciple others into knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our desire is that they leave each week with a deeper understanding of God and His Word, and that they are able to apply God's truths to their everyday lives. We want to partner with parents to help guide their children into living a life devoted to following Christ.
We hope that your children Kindergarten - 5th grade will join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 and Wednesday nights at 7:00 for a time of fellowship, worship, fun, and learning the truths of God’s Word.
Kiddies’ Corner
Here at Cornerstone, we believe that it is never too young to begin teaching children the Word of God. We would love to welcome your Preschool children to our Kiddies’ Corner Class Sunday mornings at 10:30 and Wednesday nights at 7:00.
Nursery
Nursery is available during our Sunday morning services starting at 10:30 and Wednesday nights at 7. Our volunteers are here to love on and care for your children 0-3 years old while you enjoy worshipping and fellowshipping in the sanctuary. We make it our priority to assure your children are in a safe and clean environment during their time with us.
We know that attending church with an infant can be difficult, but we want you to know that we welcome you and your baby with open arms and great understanding. After all, children are a gift from the Lord! To help accommodate you, we provide a Mother’s Area for those with infants. Just ask our nursery volunteers and they will show you the way!
Junior Bible Quiz
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is a ministry for children kindergarten-6th grade that aims to help children know and understand the Word of God. Throughout their time in JBQ, children will learn a total of 576 questions that are broken up into three sets of point values, each progressively becoming more in depth and more difficult to learn. It consists of six meets per season that are held on Saturdays in Lexington, KY, where our teams from Cornerstone will meet with other teams from churches across the state of Kentucky to compete in quizzing over the questions they have learned. There are also opportunities for not only the children, but other family members to earn “seals” which are earned when a person is tested over one of the point value question sets. This makes this ministry not only a ministry for children, but a ministry for the whole family to study God’s Word and hide it in their hearts TOGETHER!
