Why Discipleship? Discipleship is important because we want people to become fully committed followers of Christ. Discipleship helps believers to grow in their faith, to grow in maturity and wisdom, and build their faith on a strong foundation so that they can then disciple and lead others towards Christ.

Evangelism Explosion is a ministry that trains people how to share their faith in Christ boldly, lovingly, and naturally. It utilizes a variety of components including prayer and actual on-the-job training where the experienced lead the inexperienced.

Our kids (Kids’ Corner & Kiddies’ Corner) will be joining us in the sanctuary for the whole service and have some special things planned for us! Plus treats for all the kids!

If you’re a newcomer to Cornerstone, have lunch on us and meet the staff and elders! Lunch will be served immediately following the service in Fellowship Hall (lower level.)

Our annual All-Church Christmas Dinner will be held at LOCKRIDGE PARK, 550 Chenault Bridge Road, Lancaster KY 40444! AND we’re starting at 6pm!!!

This is our annual Ladies’ Christmas Lunch! Cost: $35 per person. Please register on the Christmas Lunch tab on our website and pay by November 30th. All ladies invited!!!

We will be distributing boxes of unprepared Thanksgiving meals at the church on Saturday, November 22nd, from 2-4pm for families in need. If you would like to give financially, please note “Thanksgiving Outreach” on your giving method.

If you know a family struggling this Thanksgiving season, please direct them to the sign-up tab on our website. It is limited to the first 50 people who register and they must be able to pick up the box during the indicated time.

Pastor Chriss Rooney will be bringing us a “now” word! Dinner and fellowship starts at 6pm. Meal theme is Fall Favorites. Please bring a dish to share and invite a friend!!! If you’ll need the nursery, please contact Susan Igleheart by October 14th to register your child.

We are continuing to pursue what the Lord has for this region. Keeping with the spirit of our “Ten Days to Pentecost,” we are excited to join together once again in one accord for Kingdom Acts 2.1. August’s meeting is at Centerpoint Church, Danville. Make plans to join us and bring a friend!
